Hi! I am Jessica, a hybrid designer with strong visual aesthetics and deep appreciation towards the technology behind.

I create user interface and design user experience with the user’s best interest in mind, while balancing the product goals expected by the stakeholders.

I was once told by a very wise friend of mine that “art is the flesh, technology is the skeleton, and the design is the soul.”

After being in the game/tech industry for over five years now, I appreciate and only grow eager to understand even more of the interlinking nature of all the three aspects. A product is indeed a life which has the ability to create great influence.

I believe that sustainable designs are from the understanding and appreciation towards the inter-dependency and dialogues between a product, its creators and sponsors, and its users.

‧Conducted research for and designed user experience and user interfaces with game design and engineering teams for new projects. Created and maintained specs for design resources, directions, notes and best practices.

‧Closely worked with multidisciplinary team, directors and stakeholders to maintain smooth pipeline and open conversations. Trained junior team member regarding the pipeline.

‧Implemented visual solutions and polished game experiences in Unity in basic C#. Revised and implemented new visuals and animations for company website by using HTML, CSS and jQuery.
